He has also been a crowd-pleaser at the Laugh Factory in Chicago and has brought his comedic talents overseas, performing in Sweden and Finland. Not just a master of stand-up, Engberg has also showcased his acting chops in several off-Broadway plays. Memorable performances include roles in Salome by the Black Moon Theatre Co. and Love’s Labour’s Lost produced by MCTC. Engberg's diverse background and experiences contribute to his comedic material and persona. He holds a BA in Film Studies from UC Berkeley and an MA in Russian, East European, & Eurasian Studies from Stanford University, adding an intellectual and culturally nuanced dimension to his work. Multilingual, he speaks both French and Russian fluently, often incorporating his linguistic skills into his performances.
