About JK Comedy Club Covent Garden
JK Comedy Club started with a clear goal to make live comedy easy to enjoy. Our venue sits at the foot of Charing Cross Road, right by Trafalgar Square, making it easy to enjoy a night of laughter in the heart of the West End. We keep tickets affordable — Monday shows are just £7, Wednesdays £10, Sundays £12 and Fridays and Saturdays £15 — so anyone can enjoy a comedy show at a cheap and affordable price. We also run shows at our Soho comedy club, Leicester Square venue and Piccadilly Circus venue.
Every week we host a changing line-up of comedians, from well-known TV performers to new talent. Past acts have appeared on the BBC, Netflix, Live at the Apollo, and comedy festivals around the world. What to Expect
Our Covent Garden shows take place at Arboretum, a modern lounge venue at the foot of Charing Cross Road. It seats around 200 people, which makes it our largest room, and it has its own full bar inside the venue — doors open an hour before the show, and the show itself runs with two short intervals so you can get to the bar. We run shows five nights a week, every one at 8PM with doors at 7PM — Monday (£7), Wednesday (£10), Friday and Saturday (£15) and Sunday (£12) — see upcoming dates and book below, on our Monday comedy page, or on What’s On. Our Covent Garden Venue: Arboretum
JK Comedy Club Covent Garden is at Arboretum, 2A Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HF — a modern lounge venue at the foot of Charing Cross Road, right by Trafalgar Square. It is a plant-filled room with a living wall running down one side and a full bar in the venue.
The comedy room seats around 200 people, which makes it the largest of our four West End venues. Doors open an hour before the show, so there is time to eat and drink at the bar first, and the show runs with two short intervals.
Getting Here
Arboretum is at the bottom of Charing Cross Road, with Trafalgar Square at the end of the road. Leicester Square tube is about two minutes’ walk, and Charing Cross station (Northern and Bakerloo lines, plus National Rail) is about four minutes the other way. Covent Garden tube is around six minutes on foot, and Chinatown and Leicester Square are a few minutes away for food before or after the show.
Finding the door: Go in through the Arboretum entrance on Charing Cross Road — in the Pennine Place building directly opposite the National Portrait Gallery, between the Garrick Theatre and St Martin's Place. Once inside, the comedy room is to the right of the reception desk.
