Our Leicester Square Venue: The Rialto
JK Comedy Club Leicester Square is located upstairs at the Grosvenor Casino on 3-4 Coventry Street, London W1D 6BL — a Grade II listed building originally opened in 1913 as the Rialto, one of the West End’s first cinema theatres. The building features French Renaissance-style architecture and has been a landmark on Coventry Street for over a century.
After decades as a cinema, the building went through several incarnations including a Fashion Cafe and a Chicago Rock Cafe before Grosvenor Casinos converted it into its current form, carefully preserving the original theatrical decor. Our comedy shows take place upstairs, surrounded by touches of the building’s cinematic past — including original architectural details and old movie star portraits on the walls.
Getting Here
The venue is on Coventry Street, directly between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus — a one-minute walk from either tube station. It is right in the heart of the West End, surrounded by theatres, cinemas, and restaurants. The Trocadero, Chinatown, and Haymarket are all within a two-minute walk.

Our Leicester Square venue is our largest space, hosting our biggest weekend shows. The room has a proper stage and professional sound setup inside a stunning listed building. Shows run Thursday through Saturday with multiple time slots including Friday and Saturday late shows. Drinks are available at the venue bar. Yes. The Grosvenor Casino has a bar area where you can purchase drinks before and during the show. Drinks can be taken into the comedy room.

The room seats up to 80 people, making it our largest venue. It has a proper raised stage with professional sound and lighting — the closest thing to a theatre experience across our three locations.
Which nights does Leicester Square run shows?
Thursday at 7PM, Friday at 7PM and 9PM, and Saturday with up to three shows: 5PM, 7PM, and 9PM. Saturday evenings are our flagship shows and often sell out, so book early.
Is there a dress code at the Leicester Square comedy club?
No formal dress code, but the venue is inside a casino building so smart casual is common. You won't be turned away in jeans and trainers though — we're a comedy club, not a red carpet.
