Hatty Preston

Hatty Preston is an accomplished comedian hailing from London, now based in the vibrant comedy scene of Chicago. Her unique comedic style, grounded in her transatlantic experience, has endeared her to audiences from London's Poodle Club to Chicago's Laugh Factory, and many major venues in between. Preston's comedic journey is as diverse as it is impressive. While in London, her humor won over audiences and judges alike, culminating in her winning the 2018 Breakin' Thru Stand-Up competition by Court Jester Comedy. This feat marked the beginning of a successful career that would soon cross the Atlantic. Relocating to Chicago, Hatty quickly became a familiar face in the city's comedy scene. She has graced the stages of renowned venues including Laugh Factory, Zanies, Comedy Bar, Lincoln Lodge, and Second City. At the Laugh Factory, she demonstrated her comedic prowess by reaching the semi-finals of their 'Verified Laughs' competition, and has become a regular feature on their Saturday Night 'Chicago's Best Stand-Up' show. When she's not performing, she hosts the venue's Tuesday night showcase, further solidifying her place in the comedy circuit. Hatty's talents have not only been recognized in Chicago, but across the United States. She has had the honor of opening for US comedy heavyweights such as Theo Von, Mike E Winfield, Hunter Hill, and Eddie Ifft. Her performances have taken her to coveted stages such as The New York Comedy Club, The Stand in New York City, The Virgil in Los Angeles, and Nashville's Comedy Bar and Zanies. In addition to her regular performances, Hatty has been a feature act at The Comedy Bar in Nashville, Tennessee, and opened for Jourdain Fisher at The Oak City Comedy Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina.
